What an 18 hole championship at La Noria yesterday 🏆⛳️💥 The hot weather returned and the course was in great shape.....even from the white tees 🤯 And our monthly champion delivered with a fabulous 40 points.....superbly well played Tommy 🎉🎊🥇He was followed home by Steve and Rodney on 38....then Andrew & Wayne on 37 points 👏👏👏 Great golfing guys 🏌‍♂️ NTPs were won by Steve, Tommy, Geoff and Mel.....and longest drive by the Dutch master 'Menno' 🥳🍾 The Wok did us proud again and cards were submitted to adjust the handicaps 👍📉. The S&H go from strength to strength....Well played boys 🙌

What a beautiful day ☀️ The winner today was Simon with 17. Nearest the pin on the 4th was Robert and 8th was Geoff. Thanks Jens for the wine 🍷🙏

Saturday 21st Feb

It was warm Saturday Sunshine and 21 golfers in 6 groups did battle on a nice and dry La Noria ⛳️ And a big thanks to Simon who put up 6 bottles for his 60th birthday 🎂 🥳 The winner who shone brightest was Del on 18 points and a cut back to scratch 🙌 Second on a fab 17 points (including eagles on hole 4 & 5) was Wayne 🦅🦅 Third place on 14 points went to Trevor and Dave CW also got a bottle for 14 points👍👏 NTPs on the par 3's went to 1.Jimmy 6.Jimmy 8.Drew and 9.Del ....due to the one prize rule, 3rd and 4th placings won a bottle as per above. Well played everyone and we now have to call him "nearest the pin, Jim" 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the pictures Trev 📷

Tuesday 17th Feb

Terrific Tuesday golf in the sunshine today, and the course has dried out significantly ⛳️ So who scorched the grass and who got stuck in the mud 😳 It was 2 in a row for Rodney - 2 wins and 2 cuts ✂️ 🥳 He scored a super 17 points to just pip Gary on a very credible 16 points 👏👏👏 NTP on the 2nd went to Del 🍾 and on the 8th it was Rodney again! Due to the 'one prize' rule, a third place was presented to newly retired Simon, on 14 points (just edging out Ged). Well played everyone. As Don Paulo is away on his holidays to Blackpool, Ged & Del are in charge.....time to be afraid boys 😝 See you all on Thursday 🏌‍♂️

Valentines Day

Love was definitely in the air today....in abundance 🌪🌬 and all the boys showed their love with red colours throughout 😘 And we also had birthday boys Eddie and Andrew putting up the prizes 🥳🎂👏 So who was a love god today ❤️...and who got a knock back from the golf course 😵 One player defeated to windy conditions to score an excellent 18 points 💪🏆 Well done Rodney, who was back in top form 🙌 Second on 14 points was Del and 3rd was the kaiser, Jens 👏 NTP on 6 was 'sexy Steve', on 8 was Matt and on 9 was Rodney (hence 3rd prize) ⛳️🍾 Very well played boys. We will excuse the low scores due to the crazy winds but we expect better on Tuesday 😘 Have a romantic night 💋

It was an early start on a sun kissed La Noria....and the good times appear to be back after all the rain 🙌⛳️ But, on the inaugural "Salt n Pepper" Thursday, who was a ray of sunshine.....and who were stuck in the mud 😱 It was Calahondas own Sean Connery tribute act who won the day on 16 points and a ✂️ 🥳 'fangtastic' & very well played Drew 😬🏆 NTP on the difficult 8th hole, went to handicap secretary Del, who birdied it too 🥳 Lots of good scores from 13 to 15 today and lots of under 11 🙄 Time to bring the heat boys so defrost those clubs.
