Saturday 17th October 

Saturday was renamed "Super Simons Saturday" after he had one of his best days of impeccable golf 👏. Even on a +1 handicap, he scored a magnificent 18 points and won both NTPs on hole 1 and 8 💥💥💥🏆 That's superb golfing 🙌. Second on a very good 16 points (and cut) was a resurgent Eddie 🥳🏌‍♂️ And 3rd and 4th prizes were awarded to Dave CW on 14 points, and the Fysh on 12 points 👏👏👏. Great golfing to you lads and a challenge to the others to aim for glory. See you all on Tuesday ⛳️

Away Day

Away days are fun days.....but this time we tried the "overnight stay" 🛌 ⛳️ Baviera Golf is a lovely, tight 18 hole course, east of Malaga. The immaculate & fast greens were going to be a big test 😳 But, there was only 1 golfer who scored high numbers in the 30s....it was Wayne on an impressive 37 points 💥🏆 His nearest challenge came from pre game favourite 'Drew', who scored 29 points 👏 Eddie took 3rd, also on 29 points and Geoff was 4th on 28 👌NTPs on hole 5 was Drew; hole 10 was Simon; and hole 15 was Ged 🎯 Give this course a visit and the charming town of Caleta nearby. Shot of the day went to our Trevor. His first shot, on the first tee, drove the green ⛳️......on the 9th hole💥 He hit a metal pole & the ball rocketed 90° left, over a road, thru a fence & onto the green 😱 The phrase "did anyone see my ball" will live with us forever 🔔🤣 Well played Trev 👏

Tuesday 13th

On the "International Day of Failure" there were also big successes.....but who were victorious and who were vanquished today 😱..... It was a back on form Del who smashed the field with 19 points, earning the Guv'nor & a double cut ✂️ 🏆🥳. Second, on a superb 17 points, was that 7 iron specialist Geoff 🍀👏...great golfing boys.
NTP on hole 1 was a fab hybrid from Ged, and on hole 8, it was an i-golf special from Trevor 🥳⛳️ It was also fab to see our Swedish Samurai "Jens" back in the fold....he's looking good & well fed 😘🇸🇪 Another great day out with much laughter (especially at Steve's score). Get ready for the away day on Thursday and the normal game at Noria. Keeeeep golfing 🏌‍♂️

Saturday 10th Oct

Super Saturday certainly delivered lots of action & drama 🎬. Firstly, it was an 8.50 tee time. Secondly, due to it being a medal day, it was white tees and very difficult flags 😱 So, big boy pants were needed and low scores were expected (even Dave CW's driver would be frightened!). The 9 holes were a battle and Robert put his ball into someone's apartment off the 3rd tee (she took a photo of it) and Tony sent his shot down the road nearly hitting someone (but at least he threw the ball back 😝). The deserved winner was a man short on metres but tall in stature....yes, it was Mr i-golf who took the glory on 12 points...well played our Trevor 🥳🙌🏆 And there was drama for second prize too, with 3 players scoring 11 points, & all with a 2 handicap 😳 But Del took the honours from unlucky Geoff and Phil R 😉 👏 NTP on hole 1 was Simon and on 8 it was Eddie 🎯⛳️🍾 Great shots guys......But, what a tough day it was, so no shotbacks were given. Hopefully Tuesday will be an easier test for us all 🤞🤞🤞

Thursday 8th

Thursday was Dyslexia day.....and a few boys on the course couldn't read the greens 🥴....but 1 golfer had an Eagle eye scoring 16 points 💥 Well played Tony K....you deserved that wine 👏 🍾 And he may only play with 1 eye, but it works fantastically on hole 8 👁 Big Menno wins NTP and a lovely bottle 🍾. Plus the chips were great too 😋 Saturday is an early start so who will be a "morning person" 🤔

Tuesday 6th October 

It was an unusually wet day today at La Noria, but a little water doesn't stop our bravehearts from their golf ⛳️🏌‍♂️ But who 'sailed' thru the course, and who sank to the bottom 🌊 It was our Irish visitor "Gerry" who scored a fabulous 17 points to take the top prize of the Guv'nor 🍾🏆👏 Two then came in on 14 points and both Neil & Trevor got a bottle, as Neil was also NTP on hole 1 💥🙌 And, as Gerry was NTP on hole 8, a 4th prize was awarded to Del on 13 points (1 ahead of Steve 😏). Well played boys 👏. The dampness didn't stop the fun, but we very much look forward to the usual sunshine again on Thursday 😎🌞

Saturday 3rd October 

It was "Fun Fysh Day" as the great white celebrated his 21st birthday (again).....but who leapt like a dolphin 🐬 and who sunk without a trace 😳.... The course was set up with difficult pins, but the smile of the winner, could light up the Costa del Sol 🌟 Congratulations to Dave Cass Williams & his white teeth, winning with a score of 15 points 🥳🏆 Well played sir 👏 Second on 13 points was birthday boy Dave Fysh 🙌🎂 and two third prizes were awarded to John S and Paul 5 on 11 points (yes, I said 11 points) 🍾. Greedy Simon continued his domination of NTPs winning on holes 1 and 6, whilst Eddie the Eagle won on hole 8....well played you two ⛳️🥳 The rest of the contenders, sunk like a stone....hopefully Tuesday will be better 🏌‍♂️🤞

Saturday 26th September 

The last Super Saturday of September gave us the showdown for 'golfer of the month', as well as the usual Saturday challenge ⛳️ So who was the Prince 🤴🏽 and who was the Pauper 😱. The tees were challenging and the greens were still bumpy (after treatment) so the winner on a very decent 14 points was our Simon 🥳🍾. Second, also on 14 points was Tony 👏👏 .....and the rest were.....OK 😱 NTP on hole 8 was Del and on hole 9, it was Eddie 🙌🍾 And golfer of the month went to Dr Garry🏆. His 11 points was enough to take the trophy from Paul, Steve & Tony 👏👏👏 Another great month boys and we finish with the popular Texas Scramble on Tuesday 🤠 Yeeeeeeeha!

Ryder Cup

Thursday 24th September 

Our new Ryder Cup was launched on Thursday 24 September, and the new format was England v RoW, with Captains Eddie🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Drew🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. So who conquered the world, and who retreated to fight again 🤔
The Englanders proved to be too strong for the RoW and they took good advantage of their given strokes to press home a very impressive victory of 14 points to 6 points 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🥳🏆⛳️ Very well played to team England and at least they never sang too much afterwards 🥴🎶 However, the RoW did excel with the NTP awards, winning 4 of the 5 (a small consolation). NTPs on hole 1 - Carlos, hole 6 - Del, hole 17 - Drew, hole 18 - Andrew.....and Longest Drive on hole 16 - Tommy 👏👏👏. Overall it was a grand day out with your mates, a lovely buffet at the Wok, and much banter & beer afterwards. It's what Thursdays were made for ❤️🏆⛳️🏌‍♂️

Monday 21st September 

Tuesday came early for the Swingers and Hookers with the normal Tuesday slot moved to Monday due to the closure of La Noria for Tuesday for green dressing. Who shone on this sunny Monday? It was Dr G with a stunning 1 under par round including 3 birdies and scoring 20 points for a double cut ✂️ ✂️ he also had NTP on the 8th. 2nd went to Julian with 16 points and 3rd on 14 was Tony (I also scored 14 but missed out on the wine again 🤬) NTP on the 9th was Zahid. Hopefully they have peaked too soon 🤞

Saturday 19th September

OK landlubbers, it was international pirate day at the golf on Saturday and they were searching for buried treasure (the Guvnor) 💰. So, which Captain followed the treasure map and found 'X' marking the spot 🤔🏴‍☠️ It was John G who again rowed clear of the other sailors with a superb 15 points off championship tees ⚓️👏 Yaargh....said President Paul. In second place on 12 points (yes 12) it was salty seadog Del....& he was NTP on hole 8 too 💥 3rd therefore went to treasurer Ged on 12 and 4th place went to Captain Paul on 11 points (as no NTP on hole 9). It's a pirates life for me, and we sail again on Monday......yo ho ho and a bottle of rum 🍾

Saturday 12th September 

The Noria greenkeepers are obviously having a laugh at us, as the tees and pin positions are very challenging these days 😱⛳️ Golf was tough, and the scores were low, but....one man was a smooth 'operator' and cut thru the course with a 'scalpel' 🔪. Dr Garry was a 'tonic' today & scored 14 points with 3 birdies, to win the Guv'nor 🍾🏆 Second on 13 points, and a first time winner, was John G 🥳 And as no one was NTP on hole 9, third prize went to John S, on 12 points. NTP on regular hole 8 was our Wayne with a beauty & he had 12 points too 🍀 A difficult day with some low scoring, but we pray for some relief on Tuesday 🙏

Thursday 10th

Thursday welcomed new blood into the S&H winners enclosure, and it was lovely to see 👀⛳️ The days winner, was new member Tony with 16 points 🏆🎖 And it was a long term member & a new NTP winner, who took the bottle for NTP on hole 8.....treasurer Ged took the honours with a beauty 🏌‍♂️. Andrew kindly donated a LD prize for hole 7, which was won by the retuning Robert 😎 👏 A lovely day with news names on the winners board.......Next time, it could be you 🙏⛳️

Tuesday 8th September 

It was hot, hot, hot on Tuesday with a very good turnout to challenge for Guvnor glory 🍾. The course was set up for a championship game, so we knew it was going to be very testing 😱. And it was our guest Johnathan who took the honours with a fantastic 18 points followed by that old favourite 'Tommy' on 17 points 🥳👏🏆 Brilliant golf lads. NTP on hole 8 was Drew & on hole 9 it was Tommy again! So a 3rd place was awarded & it went to Drew on 16 points 👏⛳️ Well played most of you.....and for all the others.....get to the driving range 🤣

Saturday 5th September 

We all love a Sweaty Saturday Showdown and today saw our low handicappers show their teeth 😬 The winner on a fab 19 points and NTP on hole 9 was our Rodney 👏🏆 Second on 16 points and NTP on hole 8 was top player Andrew 🥳⛳️ Due to the one prize rule, a 3rd & 4th place was duly awarded......3rd went to Tony on 15 points and 4th to Del on 14 points 🍾 Great scoring today.....but some need to up their points score on Tuesday (you know who you are 😉). Keeeeep swinging 🏌‍♂️

Thursday 3rd September 

It was a Thoroughly Terrific Thursday today, and the big hitters turned on the style 🕺⛳️ But there can only be one winner and one NTP, so who was it 🤔 The Flying Dutchman did it again....and with 20 points 💥🏆....well played Menno 🇳🇱 👏 And NTP was one of our top players 'Andrew' who took the 'hole 8' honours 🎖 Notable mentions go to Paul 5 and Steve, who scored 19 points, got a double cut, and left with nothing 🤭 And Jim 'Saga' Rutter scored an eagle 2 at hole 2, with a chip over the ravine, straight into the hole 💥🦅. We'll played to everyone today and cheer up Steve.....there's always Saturday 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tuesday 1st September 

September came in with a bang 💥....and big scores followed for the boys along with handicap cuts ✂️. So who bloomed, and who fell from the trees 🤔. 3 players came home on a fab 17 points and Del won, on countback from Jim 🏆🎖Dr Garry was also on 17 points....and he also won a bottle as Del was NTP on hole 8 too 👏🍾 NTP on hole 9 was a beauty from Rodney 🥳 Special mentions to Ged who fell over the rope at hole 3 and to Steve, who ran away crying, on hearing Del had won 🤷🏻‍♂️. We look forward to salt n pepper Thursday and hope Steve will hang around 🙏🤪

August 27th

We love a "salt n pepper" Thursday AND... it was the shoot out for Golfer of the Month 🏆🎖 And we saw a beautiful golf performance by an old favourite....Andrew....who scored 18 points, off scratch, with 9 x pars 💥💥💥. Now that's golfing 👏NTP on hole 8 was Kevin, on his first game back 🥰⛳️ Then we had the 4 player 'shoot-out' with great scoring from Menno, Jim and Paul.....and Steve was there too 🫣 Jim 'Saga' Rutter held his nerve to score 14 points and win the honours for August....well played sir 🙌 🏆 See you all for the end of month Texas Scramble on Saturday 🤠

Tuesday was a golf lesson for us mature boys as we had a youngster as a guest and 💥he blew us away. Young Seth was only 12, and he scored 18 points to win, as well as NTP on the 8th ⛳️🏆👏 Second was that old favourite "Tommy" on a fab 17 points, off scratch 🥳 And 3rd was our Drew on 16 points and a ✂️. NTP on the 1st was a beauty from 'El Geoff' 🍀 Well played young & older golfers 😋

Saturday 22nd Aug

Super Saturday lived up to its name....and it was our guests who rose to the challenge with outstanding golf 🏆⛳️ Neil won the day scoring 18 points off a handicap of +1 💥🙌 Second was the Brummie chancer, Steve Hill with a lucky 17 points and 3rd was Gerry 'the Eagle' on 16 points 👏👏👏 Thanks to Gerry & Neil for handing their bottles back in (but not Steve 🤔).....On the 2nd, Gerry chipped straight into the hole for a '2', from over the ravine....an amazing 'shot of the day'. NTP on hole 8 was Eddie and a 4rth price went to Julian on 15 points due to the bottle 'give backs'. A lovely day of golf.....see you on Tuesday ❤️

Tuesday 11th August

What a Terrific Tuesday we had at La Noria, with the 22 players on top form & 9 players getting a cut to their handicaps (& no shots back) 👏💥 6 teams battled for the prizes including new players & guests......but who soared like an Eagle, & who dived like a Dodo 🦤 ? Handicap secretary Del took the honours with 19 points & a double cut to scratch 🏆 He never got wine as President Paul drank it last night 😡 2nd place on a super 18 points, was Eddie 🦅👏 And NTP on hole 1 was our new visitor 'Johnny' and on hole 8 it was an old visitor 'Tom' ⛳️🥳 Well played winners and at least you got your wine prizes 🍾 And well played all 22 players on a hot day.....we look forward to Salt n Pepper chip Thursday 🍟

Thursday 6th August 

2 players smashed Salt n Pepper Thursday, posting fabulous 20 point scores 💥 thats a double ✂️ ✂️ ....Top prize was a shoot out between Tony & Jim R, but Saga Jim took the honours due to his lower handicap...well played boys 🏆🍾👏 NTP on hole 8, was a return to form by Del ⛳️🍾 .....and it was good to see Don Paulo recover & double his last score to a respectable 12 points today 👏 Its hot & sticky....and we do it all over again on Saturday 🥳🌞

Tuesday 4th August

It was a truly 'Terrific Tuesday' for one player who diagnosed the difficulties of the course and cured the scorecard to win on a fab 20 points......just what the Doctor ordered 👨🏻‍⚕️🏆....well played Garry & keep taking the medicine 🥳 As for the rest.....2nd on 14 points (yes 14) was the washed up moviestar stunt double, Steve 'Jason' Hill....who had a lot of lucky shots 👏 NTPs on 4 and 8 were John S and Dr Garry again....so 3rd prize was awarded to Rodney on 13 points 👍🍾 Special mention to Don Paulo who scored 6.....its not the end of the world mate, but its close 🤪

Saturday 1st August

On an exceptionally hot & humid day, 3 x 4 balls took to the course to try & stay cool under pressure......but suffice to say, there were a lot of sweaty "shots back", after a tough 9 holes 🥵 It was king Geoff who scooped 1st prize on 14 points (15 - 1) to win, and he was also NTP on hole 1 💥🏆 Well played sir 👏Three other players had 14 points, so 2nd was Steve and third was Rodney....unfortunately Menno got no wine 🍾😒 NTP on hole 8 was a water 'bouncer' from John......the gods were kind today 🙏 No cuts and lots of shots back.....we pray for cooler winds on Tuesday 😎

Thursday 30th July

Well, what a scorching month of golf in hot, humid weather 🔥 And it culminated in the last day Texas Scramble team event 🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️. Three crack teams of golfers played exceptionally well, one on a score of -3 and 2 on scores of -4 💥👏 On countback, team Del, Andrew, Ged & Jim won the coveted Guv'nor and the glory 🍾🏆..... And NTP on hole 8 was a cracker from Andrew ⛳️ Well played to all and the Wok buffet was fab too 🍟🍜 We move on to August now.....the year is flying in 🥵

Tuesday 28th July

So it was the 'Dual in the Sun' on Tuesday, for golfer of the month, as well as the usual Tuesday competition.....So, as Zahid sat in his house with his slippers on, did someone beat him to the prize 🤷🏻‍♂️🏆 Rodney gave it a good go but just fell short with 18 points 😱....but he took today's honours 🎖 Congrats to Zahid & Rodney 👏👏 Second & 3rd came in on 15 points and were awarded to Jim R and Ged 🥳🙌 Finally NTP on the easy hole 7 was Steve Hill....and on the difficult hole 8, it was Jim R ⛳️🎯 Drew & Paul gave it a good go to beat Zahid too, but he is crowned golfer of the month 👑🤴🏽. We'll played & remember it's Texas Scramble on Thursday.......yeeha 🤠

Thursday 23rd July

18 Hole Challenge 

We all love an 18 hole championship day and July's big game was on the hottest day of the year 🥵 Plus La Norias "white tees" proved to be very challenging 😱 But the weather wasn't the only record being broken, as a record score of 48 points took top prize 💥🙌 IT was handicap secretary "Del" who blitzed the field and took first prize 👑🏆 Second on a fab score of 42 points was Drew and 3rd on a very impressive 41 points was Andrew (off a low handicap of 10) 👏👏👏 NTP winners went to Andrew on 6 & 17....and Del on 8 🥳⛳️ So 4th prize was awarded to Wayne on 38 points 🍀 and 5th went to Steve on 36 points 🍾👏 It was fab, hot & fun day of golf, on a course that was challenging. Well played boys 🎖

A Hole In One From Rodney

Thursday 9th July

Well it was definately a hot Salt N Pepper day today 🥵🥵🥵. 12 players braved a 31 degree day 🥵🥵.
A big achievement today with another society “hole in one” on the 8th hole 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️
Rodders is the new addition to the “ Swingers & Hookers hole in one family”. Congratulations Rodders👏👏👏, and many thanks for picking up the drinks and Salt & Pepper bill 👏👏.
Overall winner on the day with another outstanding 18 points playing off 2 and now a further cut was Drew.
I have had it confirmed Paddy Power are now paying out that he is the July monthly award winner 👏👏👏👏.
Nearest the pin on the 8th hole, no 💩 Sherlock but it was Rodders with his hole in one.
Therefore, in the kindness of my heart we offered a one off prize on Thursday to second place. The honour went to Tony. This was deserved with a great 18 points. A nice cut comes with that prize 😂.
Saturday hopefully is forecasting some cooler temperatures 😎😎🥵🥵🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

Tuesday 7th July

On World Chocolate day, who was the top truffle, and who was careless with his wispa 😱🍫 He is bang on form right now and his purple patch continues.....Drew wins again with a fabulous 18 points 💥🏆🤟 Well played sir..... Two players came close on 17 points and both got a sweet treat 🥳 2nd was Jim 'Poldark' Rutter and third was Peter with his Irish charm 🍀 🍾 Well played & only 1 point behind.....plus, all 3 get a cut 🥳✂️ NTP on hole 7 was Jim (hence 3rd place) and on hole 8 it was another Irish charmer, our 'Wayne' 👏⛳️ Unfortunately Steve Hill collapsed under the new pressure of +1....and returns to zero.....our thoughts are with you Steve 🙏 Gentlemen, it was a sweet treat to see you play today 💋 🏌‍♂️and thank you for the Chinese nibbles afterwards 🤪

Saturday wasn't just Independence Day.....it was D-Day.....or "Drews Day" 💥 He put up the prize, won the golf on 16 points and nearly got a hole in 1, on the NTP 8th 😱👏 Superb golfing & he joins the "h/c 3 club" now🏌‍♂️2nd on 14 points was bodeguita Geoff (on countback), & 3rd was Jim 'Poldark' Rutter 🥳👏 NTP on hole 7 (in 3) was Pete 🇮🇪....Fab golfing boys and thanks to Drew for putting the bottle back for another day 👏

Thursday 2nd July

A very hot Thursday session saw the boys melting in the hot sun.... but one player kept his cool to score a very good 16 points 💥 The Maharaja is back with a bang....well played Zahid 🥳🏆 NTP on hole 8 was a wee beauty....and I don't mean Geoff 🥴....moreso, it was his shot to win the coveted Guv'nor ⛳️💪 Well played boys and a fond farewell to Trevor.....see you in September amigo 😉

Well, that month went quickly 💥 and it was hot one with some fabulous golf. But, in the last day of the month, the teams assembled for Texas Tuesday, and a record equalling score of -5 was posted 🏆🙌💥 Congratulations to Team Del, Eddie and Menno 🥳🍾 NTP on the difficult hole 8 was Del....but the President & Treasurer refused him the bottle 🙄 Finally, Golfer of the Month for June was awarded and it was a close call 😵 The prize went to lucky Steve (aka Jason) who was his usual humble self 🤦🏻‍♂️ Well played Steve and great to see your score today 🤭 Thanks to all the S& H for a great month of golf.....now for a very hot July 🔥

Away Day June 23rd

What an "away day" at Lauro Golf on Tuesday, superbly organised by Dave "The Fysh" 👏👏👏 So who managed to 'perform' on the course, and who's performance failed to rise to the occasion 🍆🙄 On a lovely picturesque course, the moviestar golfer got his 'Oscar', with Steve 'Jason' Hill scoring a massive 38 points 💥🏆🍾....Great golfing from the shy guy superstar 🤦🏻‍♂️ In second place, on a fabulous 37 points was Mr i-golf 'Trevor', who delivered a giant performance on the day 🙌🥳 Great golfing you guys.....
3rd & 4th place were also awarded as some NTPs free'd up prizes. So, 3rd on 35 points was Rodney and 4th on 34 points was Del 👏👏👏
NTP on hole 11 was Jim 'Poldark' Rutter and Longest Drive was the big Dutch man "Menno" 💪🥳 Thanks to all the boys for participating on a hot, hot day and for the great organisation 🔥Onwards to the next big challenge and lowering our handicaps 🤞

Saturday 20th

Saturday was preparations for the big away day, so everyone wanted to perfect their game.......and it was a battle of the chuckle brothers for the title (to you, to me). At the end we couldnt separate Rodney & Steve who were on 16 points but, after several countbacks, Rodney took the prize 🥳🏆 But, there's more.....NTP on hole 6 was Rodney and hole 8 was Steve 😱......so 3rd & 4th were awarded. 3rd was Dr Garry on 14 points and 4th was Dave CW on 14 points 🔥👏 Finally, Longest Drive on the 7th hole was a beauty from Phil 💪🙌
Normal service resumes on Thursday after the away day and Rodney/Steve promised not to win everything again 🙄 🤪 Keeeeeeep swinging....

Thursday 18th

Salt n Pepper Thursday had one clear winner today, and it was just what the Doctor ordered 👨🏻‍⚕️Doc Garry cut thru the course like a scalpel and surgically removed the bottle of Gov'nor prize with 16 points, as well as the NTP prize on hole 8 💥🏆Brilliant 👏. Second place was awarded due to this and Zahid, also on 16 points, won a deserved bottle too 🍾🥳 As for the rest, we enjoyed the chips 🍟 🤪 Let's do it all again on Saturday 🏌‍♂️👍

Tuesday 16th

Sweaty Tuesday saw a big turn out at La Noria, with lots of hopefuls wanting the 1st prize of 'the guv'nor' 🍾....but "there can be only one" 🗡 So who won the battle of the bandits? It was a return to superhero form by our Eddie, scoring a fab 19 points 💥🥳🏆 Second was our visitor Mark on 17 points and he had a NTP on hole 8 too🫡👏 No NTP on hole 6, therefore third & fourth prizes were awarded. 3rd on a good 16 points was Tommy's boy 'Maddox' 🥳 ....and 2 tied on 15 points for 4rth prize....but the Dick Dasterdly of golf "Steve Hill", stole it from Trevor 🙈 Special mention to Tommy and Don Paul's sons....who both beat their dad's....hang your heads in shame boys 🫣🤪 See you all on Thursday boys and bring your sunscreen 🔥

Saturday was scorchio at La Noria and two newbies made a big impact return, to wipe out the regular boys 🏆💥 In first place on 19 points, on 'countback' was Julian 🤴🏻💪🥳 The rest has done you well mate.....Second on 19 was the "son of the Don", 'Taylor' .....Great to have a golfer in the family at last 🤪 Geoff was just back from Belfast and was NTP winner on 2 holes🙌 ....and Darren won on hole 8...with Rodney on hole 9 ⛳️🥳. So a 3rd prize was awarded. Paul had an unusually great round with 18 points, so he got a bottle (and cut ✂️)🍾 A big thank you to our Irish amigo 'Donal', who donated monies for the bottles....safe journey home 👏👏👏 Yet another lovely day in paradise with the police helicopter hovering over the course.....what did Geoff get up to in Belfast 🤔🤣

Tuesday 9th June

A hot and humid Tuesday saw some old friends return to the S&H....and boy did they make their presence felt 💥 The first 3 ball took the awards with that cheeky Irish man "flash" Donal, winning on 17 points 🍾🏆 He has the quickest set up & execution ever....no messing 🥳 Robert B and Dave 'the fysh' were second on 16 points....but Robert took it with the lowest handicap 👏👏 NTP on difficult hole 6 was Robert 'Terminator' Todd, whilst on the easy 8th hole, Don Paul managed to get one close 🙈⛳️ Well played boys, and enjoy the wine......we do it all again on Thursday, with salt n pepper chips 🍟 🥳

Saturday 6th June

It was Super Saturday today at La Noria, and the test was a very difficult 18 holes, from the championship white tees 💥⛳️ The sun was hot, but the moviestar golfer Steve 'Jason' Hill, was in blockbuster form, scoring 40 points 🎬 🏆🏌‍♂️🎊 Second on 36 points was the Irish rover 'Wayne', 3rd on 35 points was John S and 4th on 33 points was Del.....enjoy the wine boys 🍾🍷 NTPs were won by Menno, Drew & Steve ⛳️🎯👏 A super, tiring day of difficult golf on very difficult tees. Well done for testing yourselves boys 💪

Thursday 4th June

Brava Thursday saw low scores, but 2 managed a decent 14 points over the 9 holes with Dave CW taking the honours from Menno🥳 👏🏆...and NTP on hole 8 was Del again ⛳️🍾 Well played boys...

Tuesday 2nd June

The first Tuesday of June, saw the "Return of Rodney", and a notable 18 point win 🏆 💥🍾 Brilliant golfing......second on 17 points was Del and NTP on hole 6 was Rodney's grandson 'Simon', just in time as he returns to the UK on Sunday 🙌 Some good Saturday scoring.....and some not so good 🙈 Let's get back to winning ways on Thursday 🏌‍♂️🤞

Thursday 28th

Salt n pepper Thursday had one clear winner......and he's back with a bang 💥 Mr i-golf 'Trevor' said he'd get his mojo back....and a 17 point winning round proved that 👏🥳 Del had one of his poorest rounds, but a consolation 🍾 eased this with NTP on the 8th ⛳️ And thanks to Don Paulo for buying the chips after Spurs avoided the drop 👏 Great patter and fun as always boys.....now get set to Scramble on Saturday 🤠

Memorial Day

MEMORIAL DAY (3 club challenge) TROPHY 🏆 30 April 2026, La Noria....
Our second major of the season was played in beautiful sunshine and it started with lovely words of remembrance from Malcolm, showing the personalities of our departed friends, John, Ray and Colin 😪 After a respectful minutes silence, battle commenced for the coveted trophy.....but who chose the correct 3 clubs 🤔🏌‍♂️ Our role of honour was
