Thursday 7th May

๐Ÿ’ฃ ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŒ‍โ™‚๏ธ...what a day of golfing today ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ The 16 golfers recorded the best scores ever....and the scissors were sharpened for all the cuts needed ๐Ÿ˜ฑ We had 2 on 18 points, one on 17 points and 6 on 16 points โœ‚๏ธ โœ‚๏ธ โœ‚๏ธ ๐Ÿฅณ Superb golfing boys ๐Ÿ‘ And only 2 never made the magic 11 points, but they received no shots back ๐Ÿฅณ So the winner, on lowest handicap, was John S, just pipping Malcolm to the bottle ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ NTP on hole 8 was another beauty from big Paul 4 ๐ŸŽŠโ›ณ๏ธ His knees are back with a bang ๐ŸฆตLovely to see big John Hill and Tom back with us again today.....๐Ÿ‘‹ The pressure is rising and the golf is improving......get ready to go for it on Saturday ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Tuesday 5th May

It's really hotting up right now....and I don't mean the weather ๐ŸŒž The golf at La Noria today was red hot with scores of 18 points, 4 on 17 points, and 1 on 16 points ๐Ÿ”ฅ So who triumphed and who got burned ๐Ÿ˜ฑ It was the handicap secretary 'Del' back to winning ways and securing the Guv'nor ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿพ Second, with the lowest of the 4 handicaps was our club pro 'Simon' ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ And NTP on both hole 5 and 8, was the same sharpshooter, 'Rodney', aka our Dave ๐ŸŽฏโ›ณ๏ธ Therefore a 3rd prize was awarded and the next 17 point lower handicapper was Tommy ๐Ÿš€ ๐Ÿ™Œ Great golfing today and the course was in fabulous condition. Get your name down for Brava Thursday ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tuesday 28th April

Howdy partners ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŽ ...yes, we all love a Texas Scramble and 23 cowboys turned up to try and be this months champions. And it was a seasoned band of outlaws who won the wine....the wanted picture shows Peter, Kevin, Menno and Tommy, line dancing to victory ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ™Œ And Kevin even won NTP on hole 8, so no one else got a prize ๐Ÿ™„ Special mention goes to that Irish gunslinger 'Geoff' who hit the second green in 1 ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŽฏ Now get your 3 clubs chosen for the second major of the season......Thursday is Memorial trophy day ๐Ÿ†

Saturday 25th April

Saturday was the "Day of the Don" and the boys turned out for his return from Brasil ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท .....and he even went and won the NTP on hole 8 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ฎ But the star of today's game, was 'the man in white'....big Jimmy ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช He's been a 10 handicap for ages, but today he vowed it was his day, and boy did he deliver ๐Ÿ™Œโ›ณ๏ธ He destroyed the field with 21 points and a double โœ‚๏ธ ๐Ÿ† Benny & Bjorn would be proud of you โค๏ธ Second on a very respectable 19 points was our Irish guest Joe ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘Œ.....and as he was NTP on hole 4 as well, third prize was awarded to another Irish superstar 'Damian' on a very credible 16 points and a โœ‚๏ธ So success for Sweden, Ireland and the boy from Brasil ๐Ÿฅณ As for the rest....well, least said the better ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ™ˆ

Thursday 23rd April - Bravas Thursday

Brava Thursday was a lovely day out at La Noria for some.....and for others it was ๐Ÿ™ˆโ›ณ๏ธ But, it was the return of 'SuperTed', with our Eddie scoring a fabulous 17 points and getting a cut to 6 ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ™Œ NTP on hole 8 went to Del.....and it was his only good shot of the day ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿพ We look forward to Saturday now.....and the return of 'the Don' from Brazil.....after his 'Brazilian butt lift'...๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Monday 20th April

Saturday 18th April

Lovely day at the golf today, and the tees were right back to the white boxes ๐Ÿ˜ต‍๐Ÿ’ซ ๐Ÿ‘€ .....so the winner needed something special....and Rodney delivered with 17 points ๐Ÿ’ฅ...and with a direct 'chip in the hole' eagle 2 on the second โ›ณ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘. NTP on hole 4 (in 2) was Andrew and on hole 8, it was Del ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ’ช Second place would have went to Andrew on 15 but a bottle went to Garry who was slso on 15 points ๐Ÿ‘ And Andrew kindly donated his bottle prize to encourage the player who was in last place.....and it was a fight between Steve, Damien and Drew.....with Drew winning on 7 points ๐Ÿพ A funny, sunny Saturday as always....

The Masters Challenge

The inaugural S&H 'Masters' took place on Saturday, when 24 players were hoping to wear the coveted 'green jacket' ๐Ÿงฅ Plus there were prizes galore from birthday boy Rodney ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฅณ Everyone wore 'Masters white' (except Geoff ๐Ÿซฃ) and the rain stayed off ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, who was the champ? Step forward Jim Rutter on 18 points to win the green jacket (and a cut) ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ† Well played champ ๐Ÿฅณ Second on a very decent 16 points (& cut) was Del ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒ‍โ™‚๏ธ NTPS went to (1) Tim, (2) Jim, (6) Ged, (8) Simon and & (9) Geoff ๐Ÿพ Longest Drive on 7th was Tommy ๐Ÿš€. April 4th - Easter Bunny Challenge

The Easter Bunny (Ged) was on 'cracking' form today as he gifted us all chocolate eggs, which were 'eggcellent'....but the 'yoke' was on him as the prizes went to one of our newer members ๐Ÿฃ....it was Phil Rodgers (rabbit) 3rd time out and he never thought he'd win with a score of 13....but he did ๐Ÿ’ฅโ›ณ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ ....and he had a NTP on 8 too ๐Ÿฅณ. Therefore, a 3rd prize was awarded. Second and 3rd were also on 13 points too, so well done to Jim R and Robert ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ NTP on 4 with 2 lovely 'hops' was Robbie ๐Ÿฅณโ›ณ๏ธ And shirt if the day went to Mr Chocolat, Ged ๐Ÿ‘• ๐Ÿฅš Well played and happy Easter boys....๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฃ
